Our mission at FitTogether is to help you work out your health goals, give you the knowledge and tools to achieve them, and help you be part of a local community of people who will join you and support your on your journey. What's your goal? Exercise more regularly? Stick to that diet? Find a friend to work out with? Need some new club members? Our team of FitTogether experts will help you along the way, with new articles published every week, and forums were you can ask for advice. Our FitTogether community is made up of people just like you. You can get advice, share your successes and failures, work on new strategies ... and perhaps most important, actually get FitTogether in the real world!

1. Set your goals, identify your roadblocks
Sometimes it's not the diet we don't like, or the gym that's too far away, or even the weather that's stopping us from being active and healthy - it's us stopping us. It can be as simple as not knowing where it is you actually want to end up - what your goal is. It can be more complex issues of self esteem or long held habits. Our team and community is here to help you work out your goals, and break through the roadblocks that are stopping you achieving them.
3. Get Active
People who exercise regularly tend to live longer and healthier lives. It doesn't matter how young or old you are, or how active or inactive you've been in the past. Starting now can make a difference. We believe one of the keys to maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle is to find activities you enjoy and want to do - so we'll regularly be inviting you along to various activities to try different things out. What's your thing? Swimming? Dancing? Rock Climbing? Or perhaps what you need to do most is to learn to relax - try some meditation perhaps? There's hundreds, perhaps thousands, of different activities you can do that will help you in your goal of living a longer, happier, healthier life. Let us help you find some you love!

2. Eat Healthy
Low fat or high fat? Low carb or low GI? Is there a difference? Sometimes sticking to health a diet doesn't just seem hard - it seems impossible! Like exercise, the key to healthy eating habits is to find something you like, and that works for you, and then change your habits. There's lots of information and misinformation out there about what you should and shouldn't eat. We'll help you sort through it, make some suggestions, give you same great recipes to try, and help you feel better, look better, and live healthier.
4. Meet Friends!
Let's face it - life is more fun with company! Whether you want to go jogging, dancing, play tennis, or even learn to cook, it's easier, it's more fun, and you'll do better if you have friends with you. The FitTogether Community is where you can meet people with the same interests as you, who live in the same area as you, and have the same goal as you. You can meet and chat and plan online, and then get offline and get active!
